Friday, July 12 – Sunday, July 14, 2019 (White Plains, NY)
Enamel Guild North East is pleased to announce that Mi-Sook Hur is returning to teach a painting workshop titled “Inspired by Nature. In Mi-Sook’s workshop, students will draw and paint nature’s beautiful flora and fauna from personal photographs in vitreous enamel! They will draw/paint natural subjects (e. g. plants, flowers, bugs) using graphite and underglaze pencils, overglaze china paints, and watercolor enamels. Students will practice rendering, drawing, mixing colors, making marks, and adding details on enameled copper shapes and steel plates. No drawing and painting skills required. All levels welcome, but basic enameling skills, such as sifting and firing, are helpful. This workshop is in White Plains, NY. https://www.enamelguildnortheast.org/calendar/…
